Intellectual Disabilities (North and West Vancouver) Society, formerly North Shore Connexions Society, was formed in 1956 by a group of parents advocating for better social and educational services for their children with intellectual disabilities. We have been doing just that for over 66 years. Intellectual Disabilities Society is raising funds to improve the multi-sensory experiences of individuals accessing the community services and recreation facilities. Working in partnership with adults, children, families, Society members, and members of the community; we advocate for and develop a full range of community-based services to meet the unique needs of each person and family.
